About me

James has been a dedicated facilitator and practitioner of Improv in Bali since 2009, bringing creativity, spontaneity, and connection to individuals and groups through the art of improvisation. With 16 years of experience in teaching and performing improv, James has helped countless participants build confidence, collaboration, and playfulness—both on and off the stage.

Beyond Improv, James is a family man with a diverse background. He holds a degree in Business and Information Systems Management (BSc) and has worked in IT for nearly 35 years across industries ranging from food distribution (3663) to TV production and manufacturing. He also brings a unique perspective as a qualified Dance Therapy facilitator, blending movement, art, affection and human expression into his work.

A natural educator, James excels at simplifying technology and has developed books and apps to support language learners (Indonesian & Malaysian) and Improv enthusiasts. Whether through improv, IT, or creative arts, his passion lies in helping people communicate, adapt, and thrive.
